Vego Garden is a company specializing in gardening products. During my tenure there as a UI/UX designer, my work can be categorized into two types:

First, I collaborated across departments with colleagues from the hardware team, focusing on the features and highlights of new products. I also worked closely with the Branding Team and copywriters, getting involved in the process earlier as a UI/UX designer—jointly discussing and creating wireframes. Throughout this process, we integrated the Branding Team’s market feedback with the copywriting team’s content strategy to jointly define the information architecture, content hierarchy, and interaction logic. I interpret the product pages through the language of UI design, ensuring that both the visuals and interactions clearly convey the new product’s core advantages, while keeping the page style closely aligned with the brand’s culture to establish a consistent product identity. Through this collaboration, the pages achieve a high degree of consistency across the user journey, brand tone, and textual expression, resulting in a design upgrade that is truly user-experience-driven. This approach also allows me to build consensus more smoothly, reduce rework in later stages, and improve overall design efficiency.

Second, by integrating market feedback from the Marketing Department and the data analytics team, I proposed design upgrade plans aimed at optimizing the user experience based on existing pages, drove the implementation of necessary A/B tests, and collaborated with the client and the IT department to explore the optimal solutions.

These two types of projects have not only honed my communication skills and professional emotional intelligence in cross-departmental collaboration but also demonstrated the personal qualities, work methods, communication skills, and big-picture thinking I possess as a designer with a master’s degree in User Experience and three years of UI/UX work experience. I hope this experience will show your company that I am not only capable of independently producing high-quality interface designs but can also serve as a key liaison, fostering understanding and driving progress among various stakeholders, including branding, copywriting, and hardware teams.
